A friend of mine told me she was raped in the 80s and it made me wonder what would change if it happened today? Can someone please explain what would the process be like today?
Two 13 years old females have been drinking with friends. Not sure if consciousness was lost but they definitely did not give any consent to a friend, a 14 years old boy to have sex with him.
Now, we all know what the 'consent' age is, but what if it comes to another child? Is it actually treated as a rape? Would the boy go to court and then..?
If the school and the parents knew about the rape do they all have a legal duty to report it?
My friend was left alone, the school said it is not their business at all, her parents were very strict and blamed my friend.
How the kids are protected and supported in cases like this? Do they happen often?
