  • How to set aside a CCJ from March 2020

    Hi guys!

I've recently discovered that Lowell hit me with a CCJ last year -- it's for two phone bills (O2 and Vodafone -- I was young and bohemian.)

I've spoken to CAB, Mary Ward Legal Center and a bunch of other places and the consensus seems to be that I can't access legal advice as I don't qualify for legal aid. I'd very very much like for this to not to show up on my credit history.

Is there any way to go about achieving this? What's a consent form? What can I do to get the CCJ removed? (Am somewhat weary of N244 as I wouldn't be able to formulate a valid legal argument to challenge the judgment -- the comps were well within their right to demand the money but I think they failed to follow protocol. I updated my contact details but for some reason they sent all correspondence to an old address.)

Please get in touch if you have any tips.

    Many thanks,
    Leila
