The usual scenario with Wren Kitchens. They don't want to know. In brief - A very aggressive fitter did a poor job, insisted that he did electrical work which was not agreed to [he is not Part P registered or qualified to do electrical work it transpires] pulled all of the tiles off the wall without permission and then refused to leave the property because the completion certificate would not be signed, despite being told by myself and a Wren Manager over the phone to leave. I later reported the issue to the Police.
I want damages for the tiling, duress and intimidation and lack of customer care. The kitchen is going to be financed by Barclays Partner Finance if the completion certificate is ever signed.
Can anyone suggest the best course of action?
I have obviously contacted Wren with varying degrees of support and threat in return. Reported the fitter to Trading Standards and BikBBi, What if any support can I enlist from Barclays?
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
