  • Injunction to stop hate crime

Looking for advice on obtaining an injunction to stop someone sending emails to third parties discussing my mental health disability and my sexuality. Also talking to third parties. The hate crime has been reported to the police but they have advised a civil injunction as this only relies on the balance of probabilities and then if the person breaches the injunction it would then be a criminal offence which the police could enforce. Any help on procedures and likely court costs or other related issues would be appreciated. Is this something that I could pursue as a litigant in person? I don't have the resources to spend more than few hundred pounds. Thanks for your help.
