We own our a small 1800s terraced cottage next door neighbours rent their house. About one year ago the neighbours put a smallish shed up against our wall.
Recently we sought the employ of a roofer who informed us that the shed would have to be moved so scaffolding could be put up and that the shed could be causing damp to our property.
We spoke to the neighbours (who are not very friendly) they were not very happy about moving the shed but agreed to do so but said they would be putting it back after the roof had beed done.
We explained that we were entitled access to our wall for maintenance purposes which we need to do this year to do some pointing to the wall. They said the shed would be going straight back.
