Lowell claim form. Help needed

Hi, i have received a claim form from lowell portfolio. It regards 2 mobile phone contracts. 1 contract from vodafone and 1 from EE.
the vodafone contract was not a real contract as I contacted vodafone after my current contract with them was coming to an end, i told them i did not want to re new and they did re new it anyways. The 2nd contract from EE was not paid due to hardship and i was refued to leave the contract.
i would like to defend my situation as lowell are asking for £1300 i cannot afford.
