Hoping someone can help with a rent charge issue (not ground rent or service charge). Conveyancer didn’t point it out to us nor indemnify - we now have to pay previous freeholder’s unpaid rent charge - need to understand whether there is a statutory limitation on rent charges (and ideally which law covers this). Hope someone knows something about this niche and incredibly annoying bit of law
