In September 2019 I split from my partner who I had lived with for 12 year and i went to stay with my grandparents, I was helping my nana care for my granda who was failing, my granda got took into hospital in March 2020 with pneumonia they tested him for covid19 on admission and he was negative, after a short stay he was discharged when we had our first lockdown, after 5 days at home he rapidly deteriorated so he had to go back into hospital where they tested him again for covid19 and this time he was positive as he had contracted it during his previous stay, on the 4th of April 2020 I lost my granda to covid19 and as that happened my nana fell ill and had to be tested she was positive as she caught if from my granda, she was in hospital for 6 and a half weeks but the covid left her with chronic copd, kidney disease, heart failure, on oxygen 24-7 at home and immobile so I have been looking after her until 29th October 2020 when she passed away,
This left me in the property which I've lived in for 14 months but it has been left to my father and his brother my uncle in the will, me and my father have never got on havnt spoken for 10 years and now he said he wants me out of the property because he is selling it, I couldn't just pack up and leave as I didnt have anywhere else to go and wear in lockdown.
7 days ago I had to go out to collect my prescription and when I returned the locks to the property had been changed I cant get back inside and all if my personal belongings are locked inside and medication I need, I've tried contacting but I'm being ignored, do I have the right to force entry as my belongings are inside?
also if I do eventually get in for my belongings if he has been in my room and been searching through my possessions is this against the law?
I have epilepsy and suffer hemiplegic migraines which I'm under specialist consultants for and take medication I also suffer with depression which I'm on medication for, I'm 37 years old and I just cant see anyway through this because Im homeless with nothing at all,
Please can someone tell me what I can do because all of what's already happened since September 2019 my relationship breakdown to then losing my nana and granda within 6 months who have always been in my life from the day I was born and were more of a mam and dad to me than my actual parents which pathetically my father and uncle were both jealous of the relationship I had with my nana and granda, but now this going to be homeless after everything,
Thank you for your time I really appreciate it,
Anthony.
