Excess Mileage

Could I please ask for some advice on excess mileage, my daughter had PCP on her vehicle and handed it back at the end of the contract and with approx Ł600.00 damage which we agree is payable, however they are now chasing her for Ł2,100.00 on excess mileage which I asked for discount on however they have responded with a "NO" straight away. I have said that I will pay the damage with no arguments however I will now be contesting the excess mileage charge. Vauxhall have had Ł9.2k from my daughter over the past 4 years and I am really disappointed that they would not even enter into a negotiation with me. Any advice on this would be great appreciated.
