Carer/Housing benfit

Hi, Can you please advise me. I have a Carer employed by the Local authorities of Adult Social Service for my disabilities. He stays over some night and he is employed for 17.5 hours a week. I have enhanced Pip on both cases, Mobility and DLA.. I have my full housing benefit paid for. If he stays lives here rather than having to travel miles on end to the people he stays with, would he be allowed and would I lose my SDP/Housing benefit because he's employed by the Council rather than myself? Thank You.
