  • Consent Order Wording

    Hi,
My Son is in his last term of colleague and he lives with my ex wife.He is 18 in Aug. He is currently considering his options, whether to work for a year (gap year) and then go to uni, or whether to go to uni in Sept.
I have a consent order which was agreed circa 2015 with my ex, the relevant wording is:

Payments will continue until the eldest child 1) reaches the age of 18; or 2) ends their full time secondary education, whichever is later.

I was under the understanding that full-time secondary education is basically college (A level/ BTEC/ NVQ) and not university, so do I cease payments to the ex in Sept? (I may continue to support my Son directly though)

    Thanks for your advise
