  • Desire to strike off company combined with unenforced writ

    Hello!

I am the director of a company (let's call it Harrys Builders Limited for now) and I have a write of control against a former employee (let's call him Jim) for in the region of £10k. The writ is Harrys Builders Limited vs Jim.

The HCE has visited his home twice now but he is refusing to acknowledge them, so basically that is still being pursued.

Harrys Builders Limited accounts are now overdue. The company is inactive and I am now working for a new company. I would very much like to strike off Harrys Builders Limited as it is hanging over me a little bit.

My question to you fine folks is...

If Harry's Builders Limited disappears, will the writ of control go with it?
Gov.uk tells me "When your company is dissolved, all the remaining assets will pass to the Crown"
