  • BW legal, NCP CCJ

I recieved a letter from NCP car parking regarding parking in their car park without paying in 2018. I wrote back explaining that although I was not the driver at that time, payment was made and explained which of their pay machines it was paid. I then recieved another letter explaining that there was no car reg input into any of their machines. I explained that I did not pay, however, my partner at the time did. We were not aware that we had to enter the car reg, as this had always been a pay and display car park, to which we payed and displayed, however, I did explain that they would see us on their security film paying. I did not hear from them again until over a year later when I received a letter from BW legal to my new address which I had only moved to 6 months, that a CCJ had been given for this. I wrote back to BW legal stating that I had contested this parking fine and as had not heard anything following my last correspondence over a year ago and so thought that it was resolved. They stated that the current situation stood regarding the CCJ and I would now have to pay all these costs. I sent a letter back with my financial situation stating I am unhappy, and unable to pay for something I have not been aware of happening. I have also sent a financial statement of my incoming and outgoings. I received another letter from them about 1 month later stating that I am no longer able to appeal for the CCJ, to which I was unaware that I was able as this had been set a little while ago without my knowledge, and also, if I did know could pay to go to court for this. They are still sending me letters, dispite the fact I have informed them I do not have any spare money at present to pay anything. I am now unsure what to do. Can you help?
