Rejecting a van finance

Hello, I am here because I am looking for help with rejection of a van finance. My husband purchased this van from a trader company in 15.Dec.2019 and since then only problems. In the first week, the van stay with trader to fix the engine and tail lift, after one week my husband had to go and collect the van .Trader has assure my husband that all issues has been fixed .in away to home my husband notice the noice* engine was still there. We called the trader and he told us"do not worry I will book an appointment to Volkswagen service because the van is still in warranty and they will sort it out "* .He made the appointment ,calling on 20.Dec.2019 for 30.01.2020 to Chelmsford beadles Wolkwagen. Any way , at the beginning of March the van was fixed by trader and company finance refund us with 12 days of finance, £110.74 ,but after 3 days in the dash board has coming on lights for check level oil ,my husband top up and during one week he have to top up with 3 litre of oil .in four months my husband has working almost two months. We take the decision to reject this van but we don't know from where to start. Thanks
