Me and my ex separated when our little one was 2months old. He continued with regular weekend contact untill about 2 years ago. He got himself a new girlfriend and told me he was going to introduce her to our little one and she seemed to like her. The weekends slowly went from every weekend to 3/4 then some months was 2/4 so in September when she started school I said every other so I could spend time with her too. He was ok with this. He dropped my daughter back 26th Jan then told me he was on call following week so couldn’t have her then couldn’t have her other half term so ended up being 4 weeks before he would see her again. On the*7th feb my little girl (5) said to her nan that she doesn’t want to see her dad anymore. I tried to contact him to discuss the issue so we could sort it but he cancelled his mobile so I had no way of contacting him. My daughter then told her teacher she didn’t want to see her dad who then spoke to me and I said all the things she had said to me. This was then passes onto the safeguarding lady at school. 14th feb I finally spoke to her dad explaining that there was a safeguarding issue but to call me back at 4pm as I was at work and couldn’t talk. He didn’t call me and I didn’t hear from him till 28th feb when he text to say would collect his daughter. I told him
no I explained that there had been a issue he didn’t call back when said he would ect I also explained that our daughter had said the reason she doesn’t want to go is because of his gf ... she wants to see her dad but not sleep at his gf house. I said he hasn’t seen her for over 4 weeks she is my priority so he can see his daughter with his gf and family but she isn’t to sleep over. I have asked to meet his gf so I know who is around my daughter and been told he has picked someone who he likes so it’s nothing to do with me. This is the same as asking for her address I still haven’t been given this. Can anyone advise what I can do in this situation without having to pay stupid money to a solicitor?*
