    I am purchasing a property with a charge / covenant on it. The land originally belonged to a farmer who is now deceased but her son still farms surrounding land.
    it was drawn up in 1976 and concerns fencing to be erected and that nothing to be built other than a single private dwelling together with garage,greenhouse shed and any construction should be approved in writing first.
    I understand the charge goes with the land but as this was so long ago can it be removed by any means and what power would they, the farmer have if I chose to erect something that was not to his taste. I only seek to erect a greenhouse.
