Hi there, wonder if someone could clarify a query for me. I started to purchase a property in August last year but didn't complete until January this year. I am about to rent out the property and have been advised that the EPC expired in September last year. I have queried this with my solicitor as I think they should not have completed without a valid EPC. My solicitors queried this with the sellers solicitors who have stated because the process started in August, then the EPC was valid and therefore a new one wasnt required. I think that is incorrect, can someone help please? Many thanks
