I had a contract with Jps in 2016, I received an award an paid the fee, I then had a bill from them for 384.00 for work completed, they then said they would waive this bill if I would continue with another claim, I have just recently received an award , and they wanted 30%+vat, I paid 20%+vat and told them I wanted the account closed, they insisted my contract stated that they could charge 30% as my contract started in 2016 before the cap was introduced. After several E-mail and no resoultion,* I then said I would raise this with the F.O.S. They were in touch straight away to say after considering my account , they would accept the first payment and waive the rest of the fee and close my account, should I just accept this and put an end to it, seems funny they don't want the F.O.S involved.
