I had arranged overdraft with a major bank. It was becoming* expensive. I enquired another bank for the ''Switch''. They promised a like for like product. However after the ''switch'' they (2nd bank) did not renew the requisite Overdraft facility. I did not had enough money at disposal and offered firstly £1000/pcm to clear in 4 months. However, I realised that this would put me in more financial difficulty. So I offered £250/pcm and carried on paying despite that 1st bank did not agree to it. In the meanwhile after an income &* Expenditure analysis the 1st bank did not agree to any plan and refer me to dent charities. I enquired with Citizen Advice and they said since I am making the £250 a month carry on ding so and agree with 1st bank personally. The 1st bank then register a ''Default'' and agree to £250/month which I was paying already though an agency. All the the overdraft is repaid as promised. I complained first to 1st Bank unsuccessfully to reverse the ''default''. Then I went to Financial Ombudsman and the case handler decided in favour of 1st Bank. I want to matter to go to Ombudsman directly to decide. Any Help or hope I Got? Please Help. I need to respond by Friday 14th February.
