  • MCOL are doing nothing, help

    hello,
I filed a claim against my landlord for not returning my deposit and destroying some personal items of mine before my tenancy was complete. I made an error on the original *form for MCOL, one letter incorrect in the business name. I sought *legal advice, which was it won't matter, MCOL advised me it would and I should *complete a N22 form. Which I did. I first contact MCOL in aug 2019, I refiled with N22 in sept/October 2019, I heard nothing from MCOL until early jan 2020, saying this would be dealt with by the 17th jan 2020. 17th Jan passed by and nothing happened. *Ive made several calls *to MCOL prior to this statement, *and was told they were waiting to hear from the judge.
It is now Feb 2020 and I have heard nothing,. I called them just after the 17th, I sent two letters enquiring into my claim, and still nothing back. In the mean time the landlord has refused to pay another tenant her business deposit back too.I don't know what else to do, I have paid MCOL to carry out a task, and they haven't. I feel ripped off and disempowered as I have no idea what to do next. any advice?*
    Alex
