  • First parking county court claim

I received parking tickets, while parking at my university and even though I payed at the machine, I received 3 parking on different occasions tickets from first parking. On one occasion my car was not starting therefore I stayed longer than the 30 minutes free , the second occasion I was in a rush to my lecture and was unable to pay and the third I entered my car registration payed and got a ticket but did not keep those tickets after the day however their system shows I did not pay.

I appealed to first parking and this was rejected. I ignored their threatening letters as I thought it would go away but now I have received a claims form from county court and I have no idea what to do as I do not want a CCJ or to pay up the £600 they are asking of me.*

Any advice on how I could go to defend myself in court please.
