Issues with Voluntary Termination

Hi, I’m looking for some advice I’ve submitted a letter to my car finance company about voluntary termination, I’ve also asked them to contact me as to where the car can be returned, they have emailed me back saying they have no interest in the vehicle and for me to return it to the dealership! Has anyone come across this? The reason I’m asking is I’m due to start an IVA.
