Incomplete fine for obscured numberplate
Hi all,
I was pulled this morning in a car by a police van with 3 officers onboard.
Fined £100 for an obscured numberplate due to the fading of the letters. Debatable if readable or not.
The police officer asked me to sign to get the ticket, which I did. Then the ticket was half printed, as his printer gave up. So I was handed half a ticket showing the fine and offence but stops at what my options are. So no info on paying the fine, appealing the fine etc.
Can I ask to have the ticket dismissed based on incomplete fine info?
