  • npower report wrong in CRA

    hi,

i moved to council flat 2010, it was pay as yo go for electricity. i have just top up key and use it like that without any contact with npower. when council set up new heating system i had to change meter and get tariff for economy 7. that was first time i contacted them, asked them for meter changed but their engineer was useless they made excuse like there is no enough space ect.
i*decided to go for Scottish power they came and changed it without any problem. some months later npower sent me invoice like i am had used npower electricity and pay outsatanding amount. i called then and explain i never registered with npower i always paid pay you go, explained this must be wrong. i cant remember excatly(because it was more than 2 years ago) but they sent me letter it shows i owe nothing balance 0. when today i checked my credit file i have seen npower settled account.
it is shown many payments some with statu code of '0' '?' 'U'. even they showed account start date 09/04/2009. firstly this before the date i moved in. secondly even i was not in this country yet.

i wonder, does it have effect on my credit file like this. if it does can anyone tell me what i need to do.

I do apologise for all grammatical mistakes that is my best try)
    thanks.
