Received some paperwork from county court today for a claim made by Lowell.
The debt is from 2012 and is no longer on my credit file. I did make some payments on the account about 2 years ago, but due to circumstances beyond my control I had to stop. I have received no correspondence whatsoever from them since and I assumed as the debts were off my credit file that they were now statue barred and written off.
Can anyone offer any advice here, not in a position to settle in full right now but I don’t really want a CCJ as I’m desperately trying to get myself in a better financial situation
