Here we go. My partners soon to be ex husband has received a Petition to Wind Up from HMRC. Over the last 3 years he has been paying himself dividends but none to her, a 22.5% shareholder or the other partner, a 50% shareholder. His dividends account for all of the profit from the company. She was refused access to the company accounts etc and removed as a director without her knowledge when she asked to see them. He has now set up another company with a VERY similar name and trading under the new company with his fiance as a shareholder and director. He has told her that her shares no longer exist, tough luck. Late last year she received a letter from the accountant saying she would receive a £30,000 dividend. Obviously this was never received.Â*

I'm sorry this is a bit disjointed. Has he broken any laws?
