    Home after separation

    Hi me and my partner was together 22 years ,with 3 children .we separated 2 years ago with me going I to rented property as the house was in his name only .everything was in his name as I only worked part time .and bringing children up .now he has said I can have house if I pay him the mortgage money .is there something I could do to protect myself from him coming round if he changes his mind and try’s to tell us to leave ..he said something about a charge being put on the house so he couldn’t do this ? The children really want there home back but I not to sure where I stand as we never married ...
