  • Got charged with drink driving. Can I stop my ex changing my son's school?

    ENGLAND based

Charged with drink driving/been unable to drive since a month ago

Son is 5, at a Primary School 10 mins away from my ex's house. I get a taxi there in the morning and the bus back when I pick him up.

Me losing my license hasn't affected the time he wakes up.

Schedule is I have him 5 days one week, then she has him 5 days the week after.

She wants to move him to a closer school as the current school is too much of a drive for her.

But this new school would mean he has to get up an hour earlier when he stays with me.

Also she says it's unfair he has to get public transport due to me losing my license

She's wrote a Facebook status about it and is discussing/slandering me with her friends. They are all agreeing I lost my license so our son shouldn't have to suffer.

I have already applied for a court order to prevent her from changing school without my consent. As well as make our schedule legally binding (she often threatens to/does keep him from me).

    What chance do I have?
