  • Insolvent estate

Hi. Am the sole executor of an elderly cousins estate and have completed everything from Probate etc myself on line. He was sadly in a nursing home for the last 4 years of his life so the amount he left in his will to 10 beneficiaries is considerably less than he intended to leave. I now have an executor account set up and want to distribute cheques to everyone, can I just send the cheques with a covering letter or do I need to include anything else? thanks.
