Hi, I have received a letter from the courts today in relation to a fine I got when I made an emergency stop into a car park in Scarborough when my 4 year old daughter started vomiting violently in the rear of my vehicle. I totally dispute the fine as I did not stop to read the signage, but dealt with my horrid situation. I was parked far 11 minutes, in which I left once and did a u turn and pulled in again as she started to to be sick again. I thought it was just the parking for the flats and houses behind the spaces. Can anyone help as the amount including fees is now £160 and I really am reluctant to pay as I feel I never had a contract with the company...all responses will be greatly appreciated.
