I have had a CCJ issued without my knowledge, the debt supposedly was from from Talk Talk in 2013, whereby I cancelled a contract with them because the service was terrible. I paid a bill that was owing for 87.00 & i thought that was that. I switched then to another provider, but Talk Talk kept sending me bills to the address I had moved from without my knowledge, I never received the bills so i couldn't even argue that they where wrong. The so called debt was sold to JC International Agency who passed it to Tenron Credit Management, who in turn passed it to Moriarty Law who issued the CCJ in April 2019 ten days before the six year rule date of me paying the 87 pounds bill to Talk Talk. I now have a black mark on my credit history & my character due to Talk Talks inadequacies, they kept billing me up to June when I had cancelled in April. All I have had in the last 3 months is copies of Talk Talks invoices & i am supposed to pay the total they are demanding. I told them I need hard proof & evidence that i owe this money, for which in the last two months ive heard nothing. In the meantime the CCJ is still there on my record. I have never heard from Talk Talk or anyone since i cancelled the contract over the phone in April 2013, albeit i have moved to other locations in the uk in the meantime. How can CCJs be issued without your knowledge, it is obvious that the person has moved to a new address. I havent even had site of the contract agreement from Talk Talk, so that is a must by law im sure. I cant afford & am not in a position fight it in court to get this CCJ removed, my health is is suffering as it is, without all this stress as well.
