  • Purchase from a private seller on facebook marketplace

    Hi Ladies and gentlemen

    Looking for advice

I recenely bought a saw from a seller on facebook. It was described as Nearly new, original parts, full working order, all original parts included.

I bought the saw and took it home to use. On the first cut the saw jammed up and pulled my hand into the blade servering my thumb. I have had surgery and wont be able to see if i get use back for 12 weeks.

Following investigation it seems the essential guards and guides have been rmoved by the seller and have caused the accident.

Can you tell me were I stand legally with regards to suing for compensation.

    Any help appreciated
