  • Warrant of control

Hi folks, new here. I've had a warrant of control from the county court. The creditor is Lowell Portfolio I. Its dated 22/7/2019 and is demanding a part payment by 31/7/2019. Then today I got a letter from Lowell Solicitors, dated 24/7/2019. This letter states that I didn't pay the original ccj and they are planning to apply for a warrant of control. They're giving me 14 days to contact them before they make the application but I'd had the warrant 2 days already! I will be writing to them to make a cca request as I never make any agreements with collection agencies anyway and I also believe that the original debt is more than, or close to, 6 years old. So my question is how do i stop the bailiffs turning up? And any other advice will be greatly appreciated.
