On 15.6.19, as I sat working on my Mac computer, I heard a noise and found that front of my Apple watch had come loose. There had been no accident or maltreatment of the watch whatsoever. A quick look on the Internet has revealed that many other consumers have experienced the same problem with the first generation Apple watch. It has now happened to me twice –clearly there is a manufacturing defect with some of them. On the first occasion, Apple refunded me the repair cost. This time they are refusing to do anything, because they say that tiny scratch on the case [which appeared about a year ago] means that the problem is down to accidental damage. I am being left with a billI of £180. Any words of wisdom would be much appreciated
