  • CCJ default judgement (depression)

    Hi there
I have been depressed since my wife's serious illness and have let a lot of things go in the last 6 months. This culminated in a default CCJ award date 6 June received 13 June 2019. This involves a lea=gacy debt that I was paying off at £10 per month to a captive DR, when the legal owner of the debt transferred the recovery to another DR who sent out a series of aggressive demands for a review and then proceeded to issue the CCJ claim form. When I protested in a phone call, they said they would put this on hold while they investigated, and then sent me a letter saying I needed to respond to the claim form and they hadn't done anything wrong. I now have a CCJ wrecking my credit file apparently for failing to maintain payments, although I can prove I paid the latest amount of £10 on 3 June 2019 and have paid continuously ever since the arrangement was set up.

Can anyone help p[lease with the likelihood of success and the process to follow to get this set aside?
