  • Hello everyone

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I need some assistance with an excess mileage claim from VW Financial Services (VWFS). I took out a 4 year PCP on a 2015 VW CC. I paid the correct amount each month and never missed a payment. In January 2019, I carried out a voluntary termination (VT) of the car. I handed the car back in good condition. There were no charges for damage etc. Following this I received a letter from VWFS stating I had exceeded my mileage and that they required payment of £517. I'm told that if I've paid over 50% of the deal, and the car is handed back in good condition, then no further payment can be enforced? I've wrote back to VWFS and told them this. I have just received a letter from their solicitors claiming that the Consumer Credit Act allows them to claim for excess mileage.
