  • Lowel court claim

    Hi
i hv received a court claim from Lowell solicitor about my Halifax overdraft claiming £3128 but I do not know how much I owe and my account was closed by Halifax and on my credit file it shows settle status in June 2018 and also shows date satisfied on 30/06/2018 of £2829 amount in credit file .

but 16/03/16 it shows defaulted by Lowell portfolio into my credit files
I do not understand how come Halifax closed my account and put settle status but lowell portfolio shows defaulted ?

    is there any remedies please?
Again 10/05/19 Lowell solicitor sent me court claim form by claiming £3128 by saying
    particulars of claim
    1) the defendant entered into an agreement for a Halifax current account reference 11074200448239(the agreement)
2)the defendant failed to maintain the require payment and the service was terminated.
    3) the agreement was later assigned to the claimant on 29/06/2018 by notice given to the defendant
    4) despite repeated request for payment the sum of £2827 remain due and outstanding and claimants claim
    a) the said sum £2827
    b) cost

I have sent acknowledgement to money claim on 20/05/19 and claim was issued on 10/05/19 which was before due date .

my question is I have explain the all situations of my case so if
any one can please help me out of this case as I do not want to get CCJ

for stronger defence what can I do now ?
can I ask any information from them ?
    please suggest me accordingly
