  • Executors withholding items

Hi, I've just signed up. I'm based in London, UK and am trying to reason with the remaining executors of my late father's will.
I stood down as executor. Since then, remaining executors (siblings) have done their utmost to prevent me receiving items left to me and those I requested. After several months of nasty emails, they said they would leave a box of items with my courtesy aunt.
I drove 180 mile round trip only to discover the executors had replaced the watch left to me with a cheap alternative that never was my father's. They had also omitted the two items I requested and instead thrown in unwanted alternatives. The requested items hold no financial value and are only of great sentimental value to me.
All of the items were/are at my father's. One executor stated (by email) that the box contained "watches" and the other executor said (by email) that there were "a couple of watches" at my father's, yet now one of the executors claims (by email) there was only ever one. That executor also claims that the items I requested aren't at my father's home. They most certainly are. My father and I were looking through them only weeks before his accident. The other executor won't even address the items and has instead sent nasty emails. In fact, all correspondence has been via email. I'm very upset and would like to find representation so that I might receive the watch left to me and the items I requested. I can then completely cut ties with siblings.
