Hello members, hope you can help? I've had a letter today from Barclays to say that they have decided that my PPi policy was not mis-sold. They state my application for my credit card and ppi was submitted online in Jan 2001 which means that at the point of applying for ppi they did not give any advice. They say I made my own decision as to whether I required the policy and could have benefited from it. I have no recollection of asking for this cover as I was employed and would have had sick pay, I was in good health and I also had a critical illness policy in place for any serious illness when I could not work. Can anyone advise if they have successfully appealed because they were not satisfied with Barclays decision? Many thanks.
ppi claimed declined by Barclays as application made online
