  • Hello!

Hello all. First thanks for all the helpful information I've found so far. I'm currently trying to get my head around the ins and outs of VTing a car through MotoNovo and think I have most of the issues clear in my head - refuse to sign anything other than my initial recorded delivery letter, refuse everything with references to laws if they demand anything (and threaten to complain) - all of this thanks to the excellent posts here.

I'm here because I have a question about getting to the halfway point. I'm currently at 37% paid through MotoNovo finance, and my halfway paid point for the VT isn't for another 10 months. Essentially I just want out of this PCP agreement. My online finance account says I have the option to make a payment of whatever I want, whenever I want. Can I just save up and pay off the difference between my current outstanding balance and the 50% value, and then send the VT?

I realise this will piss them off (excellent!), but is there any good reason I can't? i.e. does the law say I have to have made monthly payments to get to the 50% point, or will my extra top-up work.

Sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find it anywhere.

    Thanks!
