Overpayment wtc

I received a letter from Hm revenue today regarding a overpayment of wtc from 05/04/15 the outstanding debt is 653.00. I do know when I was working I had to pay back a overpayment by dwp deductions from wtc payment .I left work in 2014 I think it was a January, the reason I'm not sure of the date because I suffer from mental health issues were my daily living situation has deterated where I have memory problems which is quite scary for someone who used to be very active and organised .I'm very worried about this letter I have received and I do extremely find it difficult to phone these people incase they falsley try and intimadate the issue, I don't deal very well with any issues sent like this hopefully I could get some advice please,.
