  • Rights Granted in a Conveyance

Can anyone advise me regarding the rights contained in a conveyance relating to support and foundations. The conveyance allows my neighbours to build on their land but restricts the size of the foundations and restricts the support that can be used for their building. Would these rights possibly be classed as restrictive easements or restrictive covenants . I have referred to them as covenants but the neighbours have said this is incorrect. I am guessing that I am using the wrong term and would be grateful for advice on what these kind of restrictions on their own land would be called and whether they are enforceable.
