  • Voluntary Termination

I have followed the advice on here to voluntary terminate a PCP Car Finance. The lender wanted £250 to pick the car up but I refused and offered to drop it within a 50 mile radius but they will not let me. They have stopped communicating with me and I am fedup of trying to contact them etc. I have now also sent 2 formal letters giving them 7 business days to pick up the car and an invoice charging them for storage.

My question is once i have VT'd (which I have), what responsibility do I have for the car. Can I simply go and park it somewhere, take loads of photo's of the condition and send the keys and the log book to the lender or will I remain liable for the car if it is stolen or damaged?
