  • Defense to a claim was strike out earlier and now reinstated

I am defending a small money claim and claimant failed to pay trial fee, court strike out his claim on 21 March 2018, and 12 April trial date vacated , and now I received another order by the court that the claim is reinstated again, as court received a letter from the claimant. I was not informed by the court, and when they applied to reinstate the claim. I would like to know what can I do now to stop reinstate the claim as claimant is just wasting a time, back ground of the claim is I am estate agent and tenants vacated the house and paid partial rent and went on holidays after vacating the house, after two months he came back and ask me to rent the house again, I refused as I have already given it to another family after refurbishing it. He became homeless voluntarily and asked the local council to provide him a house. Local council accept my claim that he vacated the house himself by mutual understanding and voluntarily. He made a claim against me and the landlord or illegal eviction. He and his other friends and family has been living in the property nearly 8 years, as soon as he got the ILR status, he became jobless and claimed housing benefits. 8 years has been working and paying rent and subletting property and making profits without taxation. He was an international student.
