We have terminated our PCP on our Fiat 500. On inspection/collection day the inspector aborted the inspection & said they could not take the car as there was a nail in one of the tyres. We asked can we go now & get it fixed, they said no as they had another 8 cars to collect. The finance company are now looking to charge us £159 for the aborted visit, are we liable for this charge? Reading other threads, collection charges do not seem to be liable. Another point, they cancelled a previous appointment on the day, due to having no one available to collect, can we charge them for our time that day, ie having to use a days holiday from work.
