Hi beagles, ive received a terrifying letter from a solicitor and really dont knwo what to do. My mortgage company nram had a suspended posession order a few years ago when i was having trouble with my mortgage. Ive been on an arrangement to repay arrears for a while and recently i missed a couple of payments. I got back on track and was away with family for a few weeks over christmas and new year and when i got back today i had 2 letters saying that the solicitor has been asked by nram to apply for a possession warrant.
I called them and the solicitor told me to seek legal advice, i spoke with the court and they cant tell me anything and advised the same. Nram say that i havent got an arragement in place since i missed payments recently.
Im in regular well paid employment since last 6 months and can afford the mortgage and reasonable arrears payments. Is there any way i can stop this process? Is there a hearing at court or does it just pass before a judgee for a yes/no?
Please, can anyone help?
