the motor ombudsman?

Hi everyone, I have a dispute with a dealership concerning being mis sold a used car being misled by omission, which has been dragged out by the dealer ignoring my plight. I have now turned to the motor ombudsman to help settle the dispute as my last resort as my claim would be above the £10000 limit for small claims court. Has anyone had experience with this ombudsman, or rather any success with them?.
