Indexing or permissions bug?

Morning. I got notified by email of a new posting one of my threads but when I clicked through after signing, it said no permission. So then I found it on the site notification list and I noticed that one of the posters was called "-1", and even though I could see the link I couldn't click through to it.

See screenshot. Weird! Any ideas?
