Hi,I was contacted by Capquest about a debt from Lloyds as I was not sure about the debt I contacted Lloyds. At this point they told me there were two accounts that were defaulted and sold to Capquest and 1st Direct in 2009 and the accounts had nothing to do with them anymore and to contact said companies.I then made a complaint to Lloyds as I had no letters stating the accounts had defaulted and been sold.I received a response from them still along the lines the account has nothing to do with them but had contacted 1st credit(who at that point had never contacted me) and gave them my married name,my address as it had changed from what details they had and details of my vulnerable status.

My question is can they legally pass my new details on when I have no accounts with Lloyds and they had sold any accounts in 2009 and in their own admission have nothing to do with the accounts anymore. Thanks for any help!
