  • Small Claims Court

My mother died intestate, her estate totalled £31.000 we are five siblings, whom should have £6,200 each.

The solicitors representing my deceased mother continue to delay payment with the excuse of there maybe outstanding Pension Credit owing.

This excuse has now been going on for over a year.

I am not concerned about what my other siblings intend to do about their share, I would like to know if I could pursue the claim against these solicitors in the small claims court for 6,200, and would I be able to claim 8% interest for the deliberate delay?

    Thanks for any advice?
